15 May 2019 - Guest services and logistics will come in-house at the University of London

On Monday, 20 May 2019, we will welcome over 35 colleagues as employees of the University of London. This is the completion of the first phase of the Facilities Management Services Review. 

Based in the Property and Facilities Management department, reception, post room, logistics and AV services staff are being transferred from a third-party employer to direct employment by the University.  

Bringing staff in-house was a complex process which saw all stakeholders following statutory employee legislation. I would like to thank everyone involved in this transition for their hard work in the past months leading up to this date.  

We are now embarking on the next phase of the Review and will post regular updates on our progress.
