University of London Desktop Wallpaper Calendar 2020

As part of the University of London’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we’ve opted to produce desktop calendar wallpaper for 2020. This ‘greener’ approach will save on the waste from the physical production of printed calendars, and also on the carbon emissions from mailing these around the world.

The theme of this year’s calendar is international days and how they relate to the work of the University of London.

The United Nations designates specific days to mark particular events or topics in order to promote the UN’s objectives through awareness and action.

International days are occasions to educate the general public on issues of concern,
to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity. Each international day offers the opportunity to organise activities related to the theme of the day.
