Director of Compliance and Secretary to the Board

The Director of Compliance and Secretary to the Board is responsible for ensuring that the University remains compliant within the appropriate legal framework. They also support the governance of the University through its Board of Trustees and Collegiate Council.

Rosalind is responsible for the compliance requirements for the University arising from the introduction of the new Office for Students, HESA Data Futures, GDPR as well as existing compliance demands from the Prevent Duty, disability, audit, employment and property matters. Additionally, she advises and supports the Board of Trustees, and in particular the Chair and the Vice-Chancellor, on all governance and related matters.

Rosalind has worked for the University of London for 28 years. Her previous responsibilities have included Deputy University Secretary and Head of the Central Secretariat.

Ros has a wealth of experience in governance and compliance, particularly overseeing changes to Statutes and Ordinances and in her time at the University she has been Secretary to many of its different committees.
