Alumni

We support and provide ways for our alumni and friends to get involved in the life of the University of London. We also work to ensure that every member of our global community can access our world-class services and facilities.

Our programme of events brings our alumni together to celebrate, debate and collaborate, while our international network of local groups allows alumni to reconnect and find new friends in their region.

UK Student & Alumni Reception June 2018

The UK weather was kind to us as guests arrived at the west gate of the Tower of London on Friday 8th June for the Student & Alumni Reception. The evening started with a tour of the grounds lead by a Yeoman Warder. As guests passed Traitor’s Gate and the Bloody Tower they were then left to enjoy the sparkling array of items in the Jewel House. With the weather still being kind guests were able to enjoy a welcome drink outside the White Tower before moving into the New Armouries for the rest of the evening. A fantastic London Landmark for a night of networking and socialising for our students and alumni.

Were you a member of a University of London student club or society?

If you were active in one of the many University of London student groups, such as the University of London Boat Club, the University of London Officer Training Corps, the University of London Air Squadron or the University of London Royal Naval Unit, the Development Office can help you to connect with their alumni activities.

Did you study at one of the independent member institutions of the University of London?

If you studied at one of the independent member institutions, you will be a member of their alumni network. You can find detailed information about membership and benefits for alumni of your institution on their website.

If you studied at a member institution that has merged or left the University of London, please contact us and we can help.

Were you a member of Convocation?

In 1858, Convocation, the recognised body of graduates of the University, was formed to give graduates a voice in the working of the University. Over the next 150 years, its role evolved, and partly in response to the growing influence of alumni in the University and in their respective Colleges, Convocation came to an end in 2003.
