Introduction to demographic analysis

To enable students to understand and apply basic techniques of demographic analysis relevant to the study of population and health and to enable students to understand how demographic data are collected and introduce slightly more advanced methods of demographic analysis.

It is a core module for the Demography and Health courses.

Assessment

2hr 15 unseen written exam (70%) and an assessed assignment (30%). If you fail the module, you are allowed one further attempt at the examination.
