Supply Chain Finance and Risk Management

Expected to be available to study from October 2019

This module will help you improve supply chain resilience and performance by optimising financial flows and capital allocation.

You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the structures that can be used to finance trade, the potential routes to finance the movement of specific goods/services; and the key supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.

Assessment

Coursework (30% weighting) - The coursework is based on a 2500 word case study. For the report you will have to answer specific questions on the chosen case study.

Examination (70% weighting) - A two-hour unseen written examination. The questions will be based on the topics covered in the module and through the assigned readings.

Pass Mark - To pass this module you must get a mark of at least 50% in each element of assessment, subject to the application of rules for compensation. Please see the programme regulations for more information.
