      Birkbeck is part of the prestigious University of London and one of the world's leading research universities. Our teaching mainly takes place during the evening and this gives our students the opportunity to combine study with work and other commitments.

      In the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, we offer undergraduate degree programmes in Computing, Data Science, and Information Systems & Management.

      Our courses can be studied over 3 years full-time or 4 years part-time.  While teaching generally takes place between 6pm and 9pm, if you choose to study full-time there may be some daytime lecture provision.
