Governance Fundamentals and Broader Frameworks

The University of London and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Academy will be hosting a two-day training programme on corporate governance.

Course overview

Taking place in central London on 26 and 27 March 2019, this programme will provide you with an understanding of the the fundamentals and technicalities of corporate governance frameworks.

Through interactive exercises, group work and case studies, you will review best practice and discuss current hot topics to develop your knowledge of corporate governance in UK and US businesses today.

An expert panel of guest speakers will draw on decades of experience in strategy, investment management, cybersecurity and risk management to investigate the most pressing ethical and legal considerations in corporate governance today.

In dynamic group sessions you will discuss areas such as bribery and corruption, money laundering and terror financing, examining real-world examples to develop an understanding of the behaviour that investors expect to see from businesses and their directors.
