Coronavirus Updates

Student and staff safety is of our utmost priority. We are closely monitoring both French and British guidelines.

Current Students

Overview

On-campus and small group teaching is one of the characteristics of our pedagogical approach and we aim to maintain a high level of face-to-face teaching while bearing in mind guidance from local authorities.

The ULIP building is currently open to staff and students during standard opening hours. Visitors can be welcomed by appointment. To ensure building users' safety, everyone is asked to wear a mask, sanitise their hands upon entry and avoid the use of lifts when possible.

Current Students

Some staff are still working from home, but please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and/or concerns. We may not be present physically and face-to-face, but we are certainly available online to ensure continued support to our students.

If you are in Paris, please make sure you follow these basic guidelines. If you experience symptoms which are characteristic of Covid-19, please follow these steps:

  • Avoid contacts and contact a doctor for a medical opinion. Some doctors will offer a video consultation
  • The doctor may advise you to take a test, and if you are tested positive you will be asked to self-isolate for at least 7 days
  • If you have trouble breathing, call the SAMU (15)

If you do not have a “Médecin Traitant”, you can always consult Doctolib for the next available appointments and video consultations. If you need any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

For those who have returned home, please follow the guidance of your local health authority. Please check your emails regularly for updates.

Prospective Students and Applicants

Overview

Our approach focuses on small group teaching, making the most of fieldwork and local resources to enable students to learn inside and outside the classroom. We will continue to prioritise face-to-face teaching in the coming academic year.

Please contact us if you would like to check whether it is possible to visit the building.

To ensure building users' safety, staff, students and visitors are asked to wear a mask, sanitise their hands upon entry and avoid the use of lifts when possible.

A number of online events are taking place during this period, please check our events section for details.

While we look forward to welcoming you in the very near future, watch our video giving you a tour of ULIP.
