This one-day event explored new directions and developments in distance education and technology-enhanced learning. With a strong research focus it incorporated outputs from the CDE’s programme of Teaching and Research Awards. The programme featured seminars and workshops around the themes of:
- learning design
- learning analytics
- open educational resources and open educational practice,
- serious games
We were delighted to welcome our two keynote speakers:
- Dr Sharon Slade, Student Experience Manager, The Faculty of Business and Law, The Open University: Learning analytics: ethical considerations
- Professor Mark Brown, Director, National Institute for Digital Learning, Dublin City University: “Learning Design for Student Success: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.
