Sir Adrian will have completed six very successful years as Vice-Chancellor. Under his leadership the federation has expanded; the widely praised Garden Halls and Lower Ground Floor projects have been completed; and a number of complex and long-standing financial and management issues have been successfully resolved. He leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.
Sir Adrian said “It has been a privilege to serve as Vice-Chancellor and I have greatly enjoyed my time here. I am confident that I am leaving the institution in robust health and with excellent prospects for the future”.
Sir Richard Dearlove, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said “Adrian has been an outstanding and greatly respected Vice-Chancellor who has worked tirelessly on behalf of the University. I am sure everyone will join me in wishing him well for the future in this very important new role.”
The Board of Trustees will now put in place arrangements to appoint his successor.
