London Boat Party 

When: 31st August
Where: Crown Pier, London

East London House & Disco Festival

When: 24th August
Where: Three Mill Island

During the height of summer this East London festival is the perfect mix of thumping house and soaring disco music located on the Three Mills Island. 

An epic dance floor, giant disco ball and mouth-watering street food, the line-up includes Detroit Swindle, Todd Terje and Mister Saturday Night. A ten minute walk from Bromley By Bow tube station and easily accessible on the district line, you can also get to Three Mill Island from Stratford station with a slightly longer walk of 20 mins. 80s in the Park

When: 26th August
Where: Three Mill Island


For the ultimate 80's celebration, this is not to be missed. With BBC Radio 2's Sara Cox and Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp, this is your chance to don all your 80's fancy dress and get into the retro vibe. 

Dance away to classics from Bowie, Wham, Whitney and Kylie. Situated in Three Mill Island, it's easy to get to on the District Line, with tickets starting from £25.00.

Southport Weekender Festival 

When: 31st August
Where: Crystal Palace, London


Celebrate the last weekend of August in style at the Southport Weekender Festival with a standard entry ticket from £44.25. With a hefty line-up including Naughty By Nature, Shalamar and David Morales, it's sure to be sold out soon. Known as the 'world's friendliest party', this festival is designed to represent a wealth of musical history, bring live music, DJs as well as disco and soul music. 

Easy to get to, the nearest train and bus station is Crystal Palace with overground and the southern line, just a five minutes walk from the festival entrance.

Abode in the Park 

When: 22nd September
Where: Finsbury Park 


If you're looking for an electronic and dance festival to end your summer on a high, then the Abode in the Park festival is ideal. An all-day gathering of London's die-hard house music fans, you can expect music from more than 25 stellar DJ's including  Andrea Oliva, Danny Howard and the Mambo Brothers. 

The nearest tube station is Manor Park on the Piccadilly or Harringey Green Lanes on the Overground, which make this festival easily accessible. Tickets start from £45.
