Speaking at the Graduation Ceremony, Dr Stiasny OBE said:
On behalf of all academics and staff at the University of London, I congratulate you all on reaching the end of what must have been a long, difficult, and enlightening journey. Today’s graduation pays homage to your momentous achievements in securing an award from the University of London.
Dr Mary Stiasny, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), University of London
I look forward to meeting many of you today and again in years to come, in your new roles, when I hope you will attend our Alumni events, which we organise around the world through the University of London International Programmes Alumni Network. As graduates, you have automatically become members of this Alumni Network.
Dr Vandana Lulla, also speaking at the ceremony, said:
I am delighted to see so many happy faces, and I am proud of you, the talented students, and everything that we have envisioned and strived for in this Institute comes full circle on this day, and more importantly in each one of you.
I would like to share some thoughts by Harriet Tubman, "Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." So be a dreamer and change the world and strive higher. Change is the only constant thing in the ever-changing, ever-revolutionizing 21st century
