Amity Global Institute launch in Singapore

In August 2018, Dr Dimitrios Koufopoulos, Programme Director of the Global MBA, travelled to Singapore to celebrate the University of London Global MBA’s launch with Amity Global Institute. The launch event was hosted at the Empire Sky Lounge, where attendees mingled with impressive views of the famous Singapore skyline.

Local representatives from the MBA’s accrediting bodies CMI and CIMA, met with prospective students, local professionals and staff of Amity Global Institute and the University of London.

Dr Koufopoulos was joined by Guest-of-Honour Acting British High Commissioner, Mrs Alexandra McKenzie. Alongside Dr Easwaramoorthy Rangaswamy, Principal at Amity Global Institute, and Ms Juliet Chan, President of the University of London Alumni Singapore Group. 
Dr Koufopoulos said 

We are happy to be launching this new programme in Singapore in collaboration with Amity Global Institute. Our students based in Singapore will gain a prestigious qualification by becoming part of our global network of influential individuals and can look forward to joining our community of approximately 60,000 alumni in Singapore upon graduation.

This is the first course UoL have launched with Amity Global Institute and both parties are enthusiastic about the collaboration. 

Amity Global Institute’s Chancellor, Dr Aseem Chauhan commented 

It is with great honour that we are working with the University of London to deliver this Global MBA programme in Singapore. Forging a relationship with them aligns our mission and vision together as the institution that promotes a holistic educational experience for all students. We look forward to welcoming our first batch of students this October.

Dr Koufopolous was also welcomed to speak on local radio station Money FM 89.3, Singapore’s first and only business and personal finance, English language station. Dr Koufopolous exchanged views with presenters, Michelle Martin and Bernard Lim, on the topic of the necessity of an MBA for career advancement. 

From October 2018, students can now study the Global MBA, with guidance and tutoring from Amity Global Institute in Singapore. We join Amity Global Institute in welcoming new students to this programme.
