Jem will have responsibility for the technology and digital teams and will work closely with UoL’s senior management on transformation and rationalisation programmes. He has more than three decades of technology leadership and business transformation experience, which started in an academic environment at McGill University, and spanned several industries.
Among others, he led a comprehensive modernisation programme at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Managing Director of Information Technology, a technology transformation programme as the Chief Technology Officer of UK Export Finance, and was Chief Information Officer at Philips Medical Systems and at Air Liquide.
