The global food system is contributing to a climate and nature emergency. As the world’s population continues to grow, the unsustainable methods used to produce our food are harming the planet and putting us at risk of increasing food insecurity. So, what choices can we make to reduce the environmental impact of the food we eat? And how can these choices go hand-in-hand with systemic change?
From cutting down on meat and animal products, to buying local and ethical produce, to making sure none of the food we buy is wasted, we’ll offer a range of practical tips, as well as exploring some of the key debates around sustainable and plant-based diets.
You’ll also find out about how you can take part in our third Reduce the Juice: Connect challenge, and take the next step towards achieving the University of London’s Sustainability Advocate Award!
