Senate House Library Wellbeing Collection

The SHL Wellbeing Collection provides a variety of supportive resources for our members, covering a wide range of issues and themes. Many of these resources are available online.

The Library’s Wellbeing Collection is designed to offer our members support and information on a range of topics which might affect their mental health and wellbeing. This collection features books and online resources (ebooks held by the Library, as well as supportive resources provided by third parties). Links to the books and resources in this collection can be found in the concertina below. These resources are provided for your guidance and are not intended to be a substitute for professional consultation. We regularly check the quality of third party content but we cannot be held liable for material on external websites.

Where is the Collection located?

While the 4th floor of Senate House Library is being refurbished, we have had to put the physical items from the SHL wellbeing collection into storage. If you wish to consult any physical items from this collection, please ask at the service desk. Online resources and eBooks from this collection can be accessed using the links found under each theme in the list below.

This is not a substitute for personalised treatment and in an emergency you should always call 999. You can find more information about support and wellbeing at the University of London on our support and wellbeing webpage.
