What is the check-in/check-out time?

Check-in is no earlier than 2pm and check-out no later than 10am. If you’re arriving before 2pm and your accommodation is ready, the reception staff will allow you to check-in earlier at no extra cost. Alternatively, you can leave your luggage at the reception and come back after 2pm to check-in. You can also leave your luggage with the reception after you have checked out. Please note, however, we are unable to store your luggage overnight.

How do I get there? What is the closest station?

There are campuses of our accommodation; one in Bloomsbury and the other one in Paddington.

Is breakfast included?

Complimentary breakfast is included with every ‘bed and breakfast’ accommodation option. We also offer self-catered apartments in Bloomsbury which do not come with any catering.

Do you offer free WiFi access?

Yes, our guests can enjoy free WiFi access.

Is bed linen/towels included?

Bed linen and towels are included with every accommodation option. Please note, that self-catered accommodation is not serviced and guest are responsible for washing the bed linen and towels (washing machine available in every self-catered apartment).

Do you cater to special dietary requirements?

We always offer a vegetarian option at breakfast. Unfortunately, we are unable to cater to any other dietary requirements.

Can I leave the luggage at the reception before I check-in or after I check-out?

The guest are welcome to leave their luggage at the reception on the day of their check-in or check-out. However, we are unable to store any luggage overnight. Please ask the reception staff for more details.

How do I collect keys to a self-catered apartment in Bloomsbury?

The keys to the apartments have to be collected from the 24/7 reception desk at College Hall, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HZ.

Do rooms have air-conditioning/central heating?

Rooms are centrally heated during the winter months, but they do not come with air-conditioning.

Are cooking utensils provided?

The rooms come with complimentary breakfast provided and do not have access to a kitchen. Flats and apartments come with fully equipped kitchens and cooking utensils.

Is there a minimum age for guest wishing to stay?

Guests under the age of 18 must either be accompanied by an adult (for groups of minors the ratio is 10:1) or, if they are 17 or over, provide a letter from a legal guardian stating they will take full responsibility of the minor while they are staying in our accommodation.

Do I have to be a student to stay as a guest?

No, you don’t. Our guest accommodation (bed and breakfast and self-catered) is open to everyone.

What are the accepted payment options?

The full payment for the room must be made at the time of booking using a credit or debit card. All major cards are accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

Is there a reception?

All halls have 24/7 reception. If you are staying in self-catered apartments in Bloomsbury, the designated reception desk is located in College Hall.

What is the minimum/maximum booking?

The minimum booking is two nights for bed and breakfast accommodation and seven nights for self-catered apartments in Bloomsbury. There is no maximum booking for bed and breakfast accommodation, but if you would like to stay in a self-catered apartment for more than eight weeks please contact us first.

Can I receive mail whilst I'm staying with you?

Yes! You are welcome to receive mail during your stay. Please make sure the address includes your room number and inform reception that you are expecting it. We are unable to accept any mail before you check-in or after you check-out.
