Queen Mary Careers & Enterprise provides a diverse range of services to support students with their employability and career. We are team of 37 working across Information, Employer Engagement, Programmes, Enterprise, and Careers Advice and Guidance.

We deliver over 6000 one-to-one careers appointments and application appointments per year; specialist careers consultant support for PhD students; tailored career preparation and job hunting workshops for each academic School; 100+ employer-led events annually in a range of formats, including professional panels, fairs, presentations and networking breakfasts.

We place students into a unique range of internships, award winning work experience programmes and in-house temporary work through our QTaster, QTemps, QInterns and QConsult schemes.  Through this students gain experience and build networks in large companies, SMEs, start-ups, charities and on campus. We also connect over 350 students with a mentor each year, helping them to build their confidence and career management skills.

Many students and graduates across Queen Mary start or grow their own business or social venture each year. We support student entrepreneurs through funding awards (of £500, £5,000 or £10,000); one-to-one advice and workshops; our eight-week entrepreneur training programme QIncubator; and three-day entrepreneur bootcamps.
