To become recognised as a teaching institution for the University of London, you will need to apply for admission to our teaching framework.
This recognises institutions that meet specific quality criteria with respect to the support they provide to our students.
Once you have successfully supported our students for a number of years, you'll be awarded either Affiliate Centre or Registered Centre status.
- Affiliate Centres demonstrate a sustained commitment to developing excellence in teaching, student support and administration. They provide high quality teaching, excellent facilities, and a clear and appropriate learning and teaching strategy.
- Registered Centres demonstrate commitment to developing high standards in teaching, student support and administration. Teaching should be high quality, and students should have access to resources and facilities that benefit their studies.
To become recognised, your institution must demonstrate that it meets or exceeds a set of Recognition Criteria [PDF].
Working with us
We appreciate that for many institutions, ongoing support from us is crucial during your development stage. Once your institution enters 'candidacy', we offer a range of support.
This includes access to study materials, Virtual Learning Environments, and marketing support.
Our designated portal provides you with a secure area in which you can access operational resources, and through which you can be kept abreast of key developments from the University.
Institutions that work with us are also asked to follow our code of advertising [PDF], which ensures that our courses are represented accurately and consistently.
